Samson was a wonderfully loving dog.
He adored being taken for walks on the park near our home, and chasing alongside the trains as the
whizzed past.
He also loved to explore, well, pretty much anything; forests, rivers, anywhere he could go.
You know that huge hole you used to continuously dig when you got the chance?? Thats still there.
Two years and that hole is exactly where you left it. I dont think we plan on filling it in, its a
funny, nice reminder of you.
I remember how we used to take you to the woods sometimes. Not often, as it was quite a drive away,
but you loved every second we were there. Chasing the birds, attempting to run up trees after you
realised the bird was in fact not going to come down.
As you got older, your body became weaker. You're spirit stayed strong, as it will do forever, but
your body couldnt handle anymore.
You soon lost the use of your back legs and you struggled daily to stand, but it just wouldnt
happen.
In the end, we took you to you to the vets, where we agreed it would only be best to put you to
sleep and end your suffering.
Im sorry i havent visited your grave in so long.
I cant make it there myself as its so far, but i will be there one day, i promise.
You were my best friend, we grew up together.
I will never forget you Sammy.
Look after Crystal and Jodie, Lady and everyone else up there.

Thank you so super millions to everyone who has left candles/tributes/pictures for Sammy. They are
greatly appreciated and i understand that you have all taken moments out of your busy lifestyles to
do this. I'm deeply sorry that i do not thank each of you individualy as i no longer use the site
much. So, i thank you all together, i'm sure Samson is happy where he is and is smiling down on you
all. Thank you xxx

Samson taught me the meaning of devotion.
